Welcome to my blog!

I am doing research on how viable it would be for the Sun Peaks Resort area to become a net zero energy community. This will be an ongoing project throughout this semester and next semester of school. Feel free to post any pictures or information related to this topic that could potentially help.

    Hi Jen. This is an interesting topic. Since Ian is also studying Sun Peaks I was wondering if you would like to look at Sun Rivers instead? It is a development with an already high degree of sustainability which gets it a lot closer to net-zero than Sun Peaks. Also the climate is more suitable for a net-zero community. If you are interested, I am talking to the developers there on a regular basis and could give you some contact info.

    Dale, I am definitely open to changing my view to Sun Rivers instead of Sun Peaks since Ian is already looking at that area. Any contacts that you could give me from Sun Rivers would be great. Thank you

    How’s the research going? I was looking around about research for sustainability and came across The Natural Step for Communities. This book talks about methods to reach net zero and sustainability. Maybe it can help you.
